Look for the tiny e.7 on the label to make certain you have this most recent (7th) edition. The blend changes each year, here Syrah and Sangiovese have been joined with Nero d'Avola and a splash of Evolution White. Plum pastry, anise and lightly stemmy notes are in play. This is a pretty substantial red wine for the price, with streaks of coffee and cassis—a great mid-week hamburger or pizza red.
