A historic La Morra estate whose first licence to sell its own wine dates to 1841, now run by Alessandro Locatelli, a direct descendant of the founder. Fourteen hectares in all, large by local standards, with the Arneis planted at Verduno. Four months on lees in stainless and a further two in bottle, no oak. Straw yellow. Fresh and fruity on the nose: pear, tropical fruit and wildflowers. Fresh and mineral on the palate, closing with Arneis's characteristic chamomile and bitter-almond lift.
Pairing: aperitivo, vitello tonnato, river fish, vegetable soups, young cheeses.
