Former winemaking consultant Pedro Parra says he gains inspiration from a trip to Barolo, at which point he decided to start his own winery in Chile' Bio Bio region. The Imagindaor is a 77% Cinsault-based blend from three micro parcels with 23% Carignan sourced from Cauquenes which is about two and half hours' drive from Bio Bio. The average age of the vines are between 55 to 70 years old. All the grapes are hand-harvested and slowly fermented in cement, tasted along the way, and immediately blended before moving them away from the press.
On the nose, aromas of red cherry, berries, roses, and strawberry jam. The body is medium-plus and juicy with defined tannins and medium acidity. Some lingering potpourri and good length on the finish.
