The 2013 Barbera d'Alba Serra is soft, open and seductive, with silky tannins and lovely overall balance. Sweet floral notes meld into spices and bright red berries in a feminine wine that shows the more delicate side of Barbera. The 2013 spent a year in large, neutral casks.
