This is a big, dark, meaty and profound red. The 2015 Bolgheri Superiore I Castagni sings out with a baritone voice of leather, spice and dark fruit and broods with smoke and tar. What really sets it apart are the interesting notes of pecorino or Parmesan cheese rind. This Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Teroldego blend is aged in oak for 24 months.
