The 2021 Chablis 1er Cru Vaulorent [Fourchaume] was bottled earlier than the rest of the range, under natural cork as opposed to Diam, since the small volume produced meant it had to be matured in a tank with a floating lid ("plafond mobile"), which isn't really adapted for extended maturation. The resulting wine is consequently a bit more open out of the gates, offering up demonstrative aromas of pear, clear honey and bread dough, followed by a medium to full-bodied, bright and satiny palate, concluding with a saline finish.
