Laurent Ponsot 2019 Gevrey Chambertin "Cuvee de L'Aulne" 750ml

A moderately deeply pitched nose consists mostly of red and dark currant, soft earth, sauvage and spice wisps. There is fine volume to the equally sleek and delicious medium weight flavors that conclude in a chiseled, rustic and ever-so-mildly austere finish. Solid quality here and worth checking out.
