In the glass quiet at first, it begins to open in the company of air with scents of blackberry, roasted dark plum with mild overtones of cacao powder and baking spice. The palate is dark, dense, and broad shouldered with more flavours of baker‘s chocolate with hints of clove. Lined with a medley of grippy tannins that coat the mouth our Cabernet was built to age and will benefit from further cellaring and decanting for minimally another decade. A powerful wine for a thick rib-eye.
