Heinrich 2017 Alter Berg Blaufrankisch Leithaberg 750ml

Fermented in open wooden fermenters and amphorae (partly with whole clusters) and aged in clay and 500-liter barrels for 29 months, the 2017 Blaufränkisch Ried Alter Berg opens with an open-hearted, intense, fine and elegant bouquet of perfectly ripe dark berries (elderberries, black berries, mulberries) and lemon rind notes. Cultivated on shallow limestone soils, this is a stunningly light, pure, fresh and finessed red wine with fine and refreshing tannins and a long and crunchy finish. Excellent!
