This Grappa from Gaja is named Sperss after the Gaja family's impressive 12 hectare vineyard based in Serralunga, northern Italy. Made using the pomace of Nebbiolo grapes, harvested at the Sperss vineyard. Following distillation, this is gently barrel aged, giving it a rich, nutty profile.
Sweet honey, boozy raisins, and tangy fruit juice. Hints of vanilla meet damp, musty oak and straw with crushed hazelnuts and earthy macadamia nuts.
