Easygoing and informal in character, the 2017 Verduno Pelaverga Speziale would wash down perfectly with simple Italian dishes such as lasagna or gnocchi. This is an absolutely versatile and refreshing wine with a focused fruity spectrum (composed primarily of wild berries and herbs). The wine's natural acidity would pair with those hearty and cheesy dishes. Some 19,000 bottles were made.
