Faiveley 2021 Nuits St. Georges "Aux Chaignots" 1er Cru 750ml

North of the prestigious village of Nuits-Saint-Georges, the "Aux Chaignots" appellation flourishes on 1.79 acres of limestone and gravelly terroir. In the middle of the slope, the vineyard produces delicate and finely aromatic wines, combining virile masculinity with remarkable finesse. This wine, favorite of François Faiveley, offers a creamy texture marked by floral nuances. Although close to Vosne-Romanée, it remains faithful to the spirit of Nuits-Saint-Georges, with a concentration and elegance that are its own.

It releases aromas of red fruits accompanied by a woody and smoky touch. It is a supple wine with a creamy and delicate texture. The rounded structure of the tannins brings a lot of harmony, managing to balance finesse and power.
