A discreetly but perceptibly wooded and menthol-suffused nose speaks of cassis, black raspberry liqueur and warmth earth scents. The intense and if somewhat less solidly constituted flavors are slightly finer while concluding in a youthfully austere finish that offers good depth and persistence. This is a very good Marsannay villages that should repay mid-term cellaring.
