2017 - A lightly oaked nose is suffused with fresh and pretty notes of herbal tea, forest floor, earth, dark currant and violet. The supple and round middle weight flavors possess an attractive vibrancy that also can be found on the dusty, lingering and delicious finish that isn't particularly complex though more depth should develop with a few years of bottle age.

2018 - A relatively airy nose combines notes of red currant, earth, plum and violet nuances that are trimmed in just enough wood to remark upon. The palate impression of the lilting flavors is almost delicate, partially because the tannins are once again relatively fine-grained and partially because this is not particularly dense, all wrapped in a dusty and lingering finish where the wood evidenced by the nose resurfaces. In sum, this is pretty if not especially dense.
