A softly oaked nose consists of slightly cooler aromas of red currant, newly turned earth, humus and a whiff of the sauvage. There is a bit more volume and mid-palate concentration to the more mineral-inflected flavors that deliver slightly better depth and persistence on the impeccably well-balanced finale. This is a very fine Gevrey villages that is well worth considering.
