De Bortoli 2018 Noble One Semillon 375ml

Aromas of baked pear and lemon verbena are backed by spicier ones like nutmeg, vanilla and butterscotch, with flickers of green herbs like mint and fennel. The mouthfeel is rich and tongue-coasting. It's intense but has just enough acidity to keep it from being cloying. The honeyed sweetness dominates the palate, and the more subtle aromas get lost, but drink this chilled from a sherry glass with a salty cheese and it will be a delight.
