Burrowing Owl 2017 Pinot Noir 750ml

The question up front is how does this pinot noir from Burrowing Owl handle the heat? There is an early moment of spiked pepper and spicy beats, yet there too is a generosity of fruit, alcohol and intensity. It’s a big pinot noir to be sure and yet all the big parts move as one, together towards a brighter future. There is energy in this meeting and one to make certain the next five years will bring days and nights of pleasure. Drink 2019-2024.
