Ripe and fresh aromas of white flowers, pear and apple compote are trimmed in just enough wood influence to merit pointing out. The succulent, rich and seductively textured medium-bodied flavors display evident power and density while maintaining good balance on the youthfully austere and sneaky long finale. This is also really quite good and a wine that should age effortlessly yet drink well young.
