Badia a Coltibuono 2019 Montebello IGT 750ml

Here's a wine designed to give you a full dose of Tuscan native grapes. The organic Badia a Coltibuono 2019 Montebello (with 4,000 bottles made) is an IGT blend of Mammolo, Ciliegiolo, Pugnitello, Colorino, Sanforte, Malvasia Nera, Canaiolo, Foglia Tonda and Sangiovese. This expression represents an effort to safeguard some of the lesser-known grapes of the region. It ages in barrique up to 14 months. There is a subtle sweetness to the mouthfeel, and the wine delivers ripe tones of tart cherry, redcurrant and pomegranate pulp.
