Badenhorst 2022 Secateurs Red Blend 750ml

The 2022 Shiraz Grenache Cinsault Secateurs comes from young vines. It was lightly macerated and aged in foudre and concrete tank. It has a bit of reduction on the nose, so it needs a few months in bottle. There’s plenty of brambly red fruit mixed with white pepper and clove. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, bright red fruit, cranberry and wild strawberry, well defined with a brisk and vibrant finish. One of the best releases in recent years.
