A saturated red color, the 2018 Brunello Di Montalcino Riserva Vignaferrovia is enveloping with melding notes of polished leather, cherry liqueur, porcini, and sweet baking spices. Full-bodied and elegant, it’s supple and velvety, with plush tannins, a ripe, rounded texture, and a balanced finish. It is a seductive and open wine with some evolution that is drinking well now and will drink well over the coming 5-6 years.
