Sourced in Eichstätten and Jechtingen and based on 15% to 20% whole clusters, the 2022 Spätburgunder Vulkan shows pure and refreshing cherry aromas on the nose. Tight, fresh and intense on the palate, with a medium body, nervy structure, this is a straight and still raw or untamed but promising Pinot with sour cherry notes on the tart and well-concentrated finish.
