50% La Cresent / 50% l’Acadie. Grown together, picked together, fermented together. 10yr+ old vineyard in Chilliwack (Whispering Horse). Two different lots that got pressed separately, 5 days + 8 days on skins. Pressed to neutral barrels for 8months on heavy lees.
Candied apricot and burnt lemon on the nose with a subtle VA lift, lemon sherbert and a slight green pear and pink lady apple skin in the distance. The palate has fresh and zippy acid cutting through a textured mid palate. Citrus, apricot and peach dominate with subtle underripe tropical fruits; guava and pineapple.
