The 2021 Lenswood Pinot Noir leads with coffee grounds and strawberry top, goji berries and Pink Lady apples. The wine sits lightly in the mouth, with star anise, fennel, pomegranate molasses and green olive brine. The tannins through the finish leave a minty, pithy sort of character in the mouth. The fruit comes from a beautiful vineyard site in the Adelaide Hills, planted in 1999. 13% alcohol, sealed under screw cap.
