These cabernet franc grapes were sourced from a selection of vineyards stretching south from Summerland to Osoyoos and the border. This was fermented and aged in concrete tanks for 11 months. It’s nice to see a mature wine release with a full five years of bottle age. Look for earthy, spicy dark red fruit with a brush of bramble and smoke. The palate is full-bodied, but the tannins are a bit dry, suggesting perhaps it is time to drink up. Barbecue ribs or lamb chops would be a match for this wine that is ready to drink.
