Les Vignes Oubliees

Les Vignes Oubliées was founded in 2009 by winemaker Jean-Baptiste Granier in the hills above Saint-Privat, northwest of Montpellier. Working with a small group of local growers, he cultivates 15 hectares of old vines planted on schist, sandstone, and clay-limestone soils at 350 meters altitude. The estate operates as a close-knit collective, producing limited quantities of elegant wines that reflect the precision and freshness of this high-altitude Languedoc terroir.
Each wine is vinified and aged in a restored natural grotto cellar, preserving the purity of the fruit and the integrity of the land. The result is a collection of wines defined by balance, depth, and restraint, recognized for bringing a new level of finesse to the Terrasses du Larzac appellation. These wines are exclusively sold at Marquis Wine Cellars in British Columbia, Canada.
