Grenache sourced from vines between 47 and 135 years of age in Lyndoch in the southern Barossa Valley. Matured in 88% seasoned American oak/12% new French oak. Deep ruby with bright dark cherry, wild strawberry and raspberry notes cut with a hint of red licorice, cola, gingerbread, cedar, vanilla bean, jasmine and smoked meats. A little bit of heat creeps through in this wine on the finish and you've got to like your grenache with a bit of oak influence.
