With 56% cabernet sauvignon and 44% cabernet franc, this is a strong, imposing red wine with ripe fruit. It was aged for 10 months in barrels, and that can be felt in the spicy and slightly smoky notes, but what predominates here is very ripe black fruit accompanied by the herbal notes of the franc. The tannins are fierce, sharp, and intense. It was made for cellaring, so be patient.
