Blanc Tempier retains a lovely freshness despite its southern terroir, thanks to plots located in the later-ripening and cooler areas of the vineyard (La Laidière, La Migoua, and Le Petit Moulin). Relatively long aging in large oak casks gives it great complexity.
Composition:
Clairette (60%), Ugni blanc (30%), complemented by Rolle, Bourboulenc, and Marsanne.
Average vine age: 25-30 years.
