The flinty and chalky character gives this chardonnay from the south of Beaujolais excellent tension and vitality. The integration of candied citrus-peel aromas, fine tannins and long mineral acidity is already impressive. Elegantly chalky finish. From an organically farmed parcel in the Pierres Dorées subregion at 500 meters above sea level. Barrel-fermented and matured in oak on the lees for nine months. Drink or hold.
