The 2022 Chablis Per Aspera, which sees ten months on the fine lees, has a somewhat austere bouquet that eventually opens with hints of Crustacea and dewy green apples. The palate is well-defined with ample concentration, weighty for a Village Cru, and fine acidity but just missing a bit of mineralité on the finish. Not bad overall, though.
