The 2012 Nemo Vigneto Il Mulino fits elegantly in line with past performance of this wine. A pure expression of Cabernet Sauvignon, Nemo is a benchmark for how the French grape reveals itself against the hot summers and extremely cold winters of central Tuscany. This is the main theme that has defined this wine over its many years of production. The warm 2012 vintage shows varietal characteristics of green herb and grilled rosemary that are woven with the thicker texture and density of the wine's consistency. Perhaps this vintage is a little less refined and profound compared to 2010 and 2006, but this is a beautiful achievement, nonetheless.
