Issuing from 35- to 80-year-old vines, the 2022 Chablis Vieilles Vignes has turned out very well. Offering notes of peach, green apple and lemon zest, it’s medium-bodied, bright and laden with racy acidity and a precise finish. Antoine Bessin remarks that the slowing down of maturity that resulted from hydric stress produced rather fresh wines with higher acidity. It is vinified entirely in stainless steel.
