Lelarge-Pugeot is a premier cru, certified organic & certified biodynamic Champagne farm from Vrigny, France. The estate maintains 8.7 hectares on calcareous, clay loam and sandy soils. The vineyard is planted with 4.4 hectares of Meunier, 1.5 hectares of Chardonnay and 2.8 hectares of Pinot Noir.
In 1985, Dominique Lelarge took over his family estate and decided to go towards a more sustainable farming approach. The realization of how dangerous the use of pesticide is to nature and mankind was a wake-up call. This started his commitment to reducing the use of any chemical product in the vineyard.
Pale golden yellow with a persistent effervescence, this creamy wine offers a great depth of flavour. Ripe, rich fruits of fresh apple, apricots and a tangy hint of orange zest.
