This Sangiovese Rosé depicts the butterfly. The butterfly represents the lifecycle approach to our sustainable winemaking practices, leaving nothing to chance when protecting the essential elements of the environment.

TASTING COMMENTS

• Colour: Bright cherry red colour
• Aroma: The bouquet opens with the freshness of a spring day, cut flowers, watermelon, honey dew and red apple skin.
• Palate: The palate is bright and savoury showing flavours of cranberries, pomegranate and red apple flesh with a zesty citrus finish. Try this wine with beef Carpaccio with a wasabi oil and parmesan. Another option is smoked salmon on a blini with horseradish crème fraiche.

Critical Acclaim:

Lurid pink. Fragrant aromas of candied red berries, orange peel and dried flowers. Supple raspberry and cherry flavors show good depth and a velvety texture, with a hint of white pepper adding bite. The red fruit element carries through on the gentle sappy finish, which reveals a touch of heat. This relatively plush pink wine would work well in instances where a lighter red might be called for.
