Vinyes del Terrer 2014 Blanc de Terrer 750ml

This wine is produced by José Serra in the Mediterranean terroir of Vila-Seca de Solcina, Spain. The vines grow in a type of marine fossil soil that gives the grapes a distinct minerality. In the glass, this Sauvignon Blanc is pale lemon coloured with some greenish tints. The nose is quite mild with mostly mineral aromas and white fruits dominating. In the background, some spices and citrus notes round out the finish. As if it were just in time for summer, Blanc del Terrer is fresh on the palate with good acidity and has a long, intriguingly saline finish.
