Fermentation is done in stainless steel vats with 12 days of maceration. Aging continues for 12 months in 70% American and 30% French oak barrels. Vivid purple red glimmers of fine density. The nose is dominated by blackberries and spicy notes with hints of balsamic leading to a nice complex finish. The palate has a silky and dense attack of ripe and voluminous fruits. This wine has a nice structure with nicely pronounced tannins and a long finish. Ideal with white and red meat, lamb, fish dishes or stews.
