Description
'Fermented with a fruit enhancing yeast strain, immediately following fermentation and pressing, the wine was quickly filled to barrels so the malo-lactic conversion took place in oak cooperage. Aged for 9 months in a combination of 15% new Hungarian oak and 85% once used French oak barrels. Our descriptors: fruity, soft and supple; bright aromas and flavours of currants, pomegranate and red raspberry; underscored by a warm spice note from the oak aging, resulting in a subtly nuanced wine.' - Winemaker's Notes
