Tyrrells 2009 Vat 47 Chardonnay 750ml

The 2009 Winemaker's Selection Vat 47 Hunter Chardonnay presents a nose that is still a little closed to begin, then opens out to fragrant stone fruit and spiced pear notes with suggestions of cashews, ginger and chalk dust. Light to medium-bodied, it's more expressive on the palate with mouth-filling peaches and nut flavors marked by crisp acid and great length that contributes some creaminess on the finish. Drink it now to 2018+.
