A symphony of flavours, this vintage is inspired by the Pomerol style wines of Bordeaux’s Right Bank, which have a gorgeous rich fruitiness and earthiness so prized for their food friendly and seductive style. Predominantly Merlot based, this blend is brimming with aromas of black cherry, eucalyptus, and lavender. An amply structured wine with firm tannins, the palate is replete with Bing cherries, cedar box and cocoa. A variety of yeasts used contributes to the complexity along with extended barrel aging in a combination of French and American barriques, which developed alluring spiciness and vanilla characters. Unfiltered, serve decanted with red meats such as grilled sirloin steaks or strong cheeses.
