These bottlings are aged in first-fill bourbon barrels and only released once a year (this one was from their 2016 release) with just 6,000 bottles making their way to shelves. Top notch stuff as ever.
Nose: Milk chocolate buttons, fried banana and some soft cider apple funkiness.
Palate: Custard-filled doughnuts, a hint of tobacco, dates and hazelnut cream.
Finish: A waft of floral barley appears on the finish, paired with black pepper and apple chips.
