Tahbilk's Marsanne has the ability to age magnificently and its premium end '1927 Vines' Marsanne is considered one of Australia's great white wines. In exceptional vintages, like the 2005, it's a show stopper. It may be over 10 years old but its got years in front of it, while now just starting to show its magic. Blessed with lovely lemon grass, honeysuckle overtures with some biscuity, toast notes, the fruit is pure in a citric way, with a strong suggestion of minerality in a seamless package with length and great flavor intensity that just goes on and on. In light of its pricing and what it delivers this is one of those wow wines that is is a steal. Exceptional.
