Vidal from Stag's Hollow Vineyard and Shuttleworth Creek Vineyard was splashed with 14 percent orange muscat. This vintage has approximately one quarter botrytis affected imparting a subtle but persistent line of earth and spice, deftly countering the sweetness. There's an alluring lining of wildflower honey that bases lime blossom, tangerine, orange blossom on this off-dry wine. A big improvement over last vintage, this is a wine that will deepen with age.
