The 2015 Pinot Noir Orchard Block is made using 100% organic grapes, aged in 44% new French oak. Pale to medium ruby in color, it has a touch of rubbery reduction on the nose to begin, giving way to warm red cherry, cranberry, pipe tobacco, wood smoke and forest floor. Light to medium-bodied and silky in the mouth, it’s powerful nonetheless, with concentrated black and red fruits and firm, grainy tannins, finishing long and earthy. Give this some time in bottle. 382 cases produced.
