Here the wood treatment is showier though not invasive on the slightly more elegant blend of red currant, dark pinot and subtle spice nuances. There is good size, weight and punch to the rich and sappy middle weight flavors that flash focused power on the notably firm and long if mildly oaky and warm finale.
