Ousyra , Phoenician for happiness was founded by the exotically named Edward and Eileen Maitland-Magill-Crichton. The grapes are farmed organically. Monemvasia comes from nearby Paros. Mid golden hue, hints of ripe golden plums and dried herbs lead to a lovely round plum stone fruit palate based on plums and apricots. Plenty of acidity, but this carries a lot of weight and will partner a hearty selection of meze.
