"This unctuous Merlot is a deep ruby color, with gorgeous purple undertones. Juicy, ripe berries jump out of the glass: raspberries and blueberries intertwined with subtle cedar and vanilla. The soft, broad mouth shows layers of black plum, milk chocolate-covered strawberries, smoky dark roast coffee, and Chinese five spice powder. The supple tannins provide weight and structure, with just the right touch of grip. This crowd-pleasing Merlot would pair well with a pan-roasted pork tenderloin stuffed with currents and fresh thyme, served with roasted potatoes and garlicky green beans"
