Monte dos Amigos also makes a delicious red wine from Aragonez, Touriga Nacional, and Syrah grapes harvested from the region of Alentejano. This cheap and cheerful autumn sipper has a rather muted nose yet contains plenty of supple mulberry fruit with a hint of spice. Overall a soft and round party wine that pairs perfectly with equatorial cuisine. Very fun, pleasant, and easy-to-drink.
