Masi 2015 Brolo Oro Campofiorin 1.5L

Made in the same approachable style as Campofiorin, of which this is a cuvée version, using the original production method inspired by the technique employed for Amarone.

Given extra complexity with the addition to the blend of the special Oseleta grape, rediscovered by Masi, ageing in small oak casks accentuates its international style.

Critical Acclaim:

Sweet herbs, tobacco, crushed black cherries and sweet violet tones can all be found in the 2015 Brolo di Campofiorin. This is soft and enveloping, balanced by polished red and black fruits, with vibrant acidity keeping the energy high throughout. Wild herbs, inner florals and a hint of blackberry linger long, as this tapers off poised with a hint of fine tannin. The Brolo di Campofiorin is a blend of 80% Corvina, 10% Rondinella and 10% Oseleta.
