In celebration of our EIGHTH ANNIVERSARY (!!) tomorrow, we’re making the third entry into our ongoing Garage Series of barrel-aged brews — the Circa 1775 Sumac and Rose Water Saison — available on tap this weekend!

The base beer for this utilized BC malted pilsner, raw and malted wheat, and a touch of English aromatic malt.

Our brewing brain trust of Azlan @likethelion Graves and Alex @just1onemore Beilby-Tipping then put it through a secondary fermentation in Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc Barrels from @bench1775 before inoculating it with our own house culture for 10 months.

The blend was then conditioned on locally harvested Staghorn Sumac and Rose Water from our friends at @afraonmain and bottle conditioned for a nice sparkling bubble in each sip.
